Reading Redux, plus a 501 Productivity Roundup

A while back Mark Shead over at his smashing Productivity501 asked a bunch of productivity/personal development bloggers our thoughts on some favorite topics. He's just published the reading-related replies in Personal Development: Reading Habits. There are some fine ideas there, so check it out. Thanks Mark!

I thought I'd use this as an excuse to share the other answers I gave him, plus an update on my current reading workflow.

My Academic Productivity post is up

Jose Quesada's fine readers over at Academic Productivity (one of my regular destinations) have asked me some great questions around the unique productivity challenges faculty face. I have tremendous respect for education, and I very much enjoy working with the folks in these fields. Their jobs are some of the most broad and demanding I've encountered in my practice. You can read my thoughts here: Matthew Cornell answers to your academic productivity questions. Even if you're not in academia, I think you'll enjoy the ideas there.

My Productivity501 contribution is up, FYI

I had the privilege of being invited to participate in Mark Shead's group email interview on Biggest Time Wasters. It's up over at Productivity501, and there are some great answers from such luminaries as Brendon Connelly, Alvin Soon, Laura Stack, Brett Kelly, Rosa Say, and Frank Meeuwsen. Thanks Mark!

My Collective Genius! article is up, FYI

Curt Rosengren over at Collective Genius! has invited me to contribute an article on comfort zones, and my Stretch Marks! post is up. I hope you enjoy it.
